Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Forma ("we", "our", or "us") is a personal fitness application developed by Cove Studio. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the Forma mobile app ("the App").
By using Forma, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account
- Profile information: Fitness details you enter including age, weight, height, fitness level, and training goals
- Workout data: Exercise logs, weights lifted, sets, reps, and workout duration that you record in the App
Information generated by your use of the App
- Progress data: Workout history, personal records, and progression milestones
- Challenge data: Your @tag, points, and leaderboard position within social challenges you join
- App preferences: Your selected workout program, unit preferences (lbs/kg), and app settings
Information we do NOT collect
- We do not collect location data
- We do not access your camera or microphone
- We do not collect contacts or social graph data
- We do not serve advertisements or share data with ad networks
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the Forma app:
- To power your personalized workout program — your profile data is used to generate and adapt your training plan
- To track your progress — workout logs are stored so you can see your history and improvements over time
- To enable social challenges — your display name and challenge statistics are visible to other participants in challenges you join
- To process your subscription — your email is used to manage your Forma Pro subscription via our payment processor
- To sync your data — your data is backed up to our secure cloud so you can access it across devices
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
Supabase
We use Supabase (supabase.com) for authentication and cloud data storage. Your account credentials and workout data are stored on Supabase's infrastructure. Supabase is SOC 2 compliant. View their privacy policy at: supabase.com/privacy
Stripe
We use Stripe (stripe.com) to process subscription payments. When you subscribe to Forma Pro, your payment information is handled directly by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. View their privacy policy at: stripe.com/privacy
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information:
- All data transmitted between the App and our servers uses HTTPS encryption
- Passwords are never stored — authentication is handled via Supabase's secure auth system
- Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
- Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active
- If you delete your account, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days
- Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely
7. Children's Privacy
Forma is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@formafit.fit and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of your data. We do not sell personal information. To submit a request, contact privacy@formafit.fit.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
